The new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser's price will start at $57,345. This is a huge drop from the 2021 model. Land Cruiser prices haven't been this low in nearly 20 years, with the 2005 100 Series starting at $55,325. The previous Land Cruiser sold before the three-year hiatus, the 2021 200 Series, started at $86,880. The new model is $29,535 cheaper, while the SUV has changed in size and luxury level.
The new turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with hybrid electric system produces 326 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. Towing capacity has decreased slightly (2721 kg instead of 3674 for the previous model), and combined fuel consumption will be 12.4 l/100 km.
The 2024 model also has quite a bit of new technology — lane tracking, pedestrian emergency braking and radar cruise control — are all standard. Standard differential locks, front anti-roll bar disconnect, crawl control with five selectable speeds and multi-terrain monitoring with external cameras will help you during off-road rides.
The SUV will be available in two trim levels, with the base model being the 1958 Land Cruiser, in tribute to the first year of production of the Land Cruiser in the United States. The updated configuration, simply called Land Cruiser, will offer more comfort. First Edition models will be produced in limited quantities.
