The time has come for electric pickup trucks: the early arrived Rivian R1T and the subsequent Ford F-150 Lightning and GMC Hummer EV await the release of the upcoming 2025 Ram REV competitor in a top-end package called Tungsten.
Stellantis has officially announced the characteristics of the upcoming Ram Tungsten. There will be two options: a standard one with 168 kWh with a range of 563 km and a large battery – 229 kWh, 805 km. Towing 6350 kg and 1225 kg payload. In 10 minutes of a quick charge, 177 km of travel is added. Power 654 hp, 840 Nm and 0-60 time of 4.4 s.
The car will also receive bi-directional charging, for mutual recharging of the Stellantis cars. In total, electric Ram pickup truck can provide 10.8kW of onboard power (more than the F-150 Lightning), enough to power a house for several days in case of a power outage.
Tungsten features a two-tone interior with metallic accents and suede upholstery. A reconfigurable 14.5" touchscreen central display allows for split screen, while on the passenger side there is a 10.25" display with navigation, device control, camera view and HDMI connectivity. Klipsch Reference 23-point audio system is installed.
