Ram has equipped the Power Wagon with a 6.7L Cummins diesel for the first time. The heavy-duty pickup produces 430 hp and a massive 1,458 Nm of torque. The main advantage is towing capacity: the maximum has increased to around 19,800 lb.
Journalists noted the lack of a factory-installed winch and Articulink front control arms during testing, while ground clearance has been reduced to 13.2 inches. On asphalt, the truck drives confidently, but acceleration from a standstill is unhurried (0–60 mph takes 6.4 seconds). On average, the pickup consumed around 15 mpg.
