Wrangler is one of the best off-road vehicles in history. Now Jeep is bringing the iconic vehicle into the modern era with the 4xe hybrid version. The hybrid version also got an updated Rubicon X off-road package.
When talking about a base Jeep, you might think of a two-door model, but the Wrangler 4xe is a four-door. The entry-level Sport S starts at $49,995. It is equipped with a 2.0-liter inline-four engine with 270 hp. The hybrid powertrain increases the total power to 375 hp with all-wheel drive. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. When operating only in electric mode, the range is about 34 km. According to Jeep, the hybrid setup will provide a range of 595 km on a single charge.
The top 2024 Wrangler 4xe is Rubicon X, which starts at $69,680. This trim will get the same power, but a payload of 580 kg and a towing capacity of 1587 kg, which is more than the Sport S can offer. The Rubicon X 4xe also features 17-inch aluminum wheels with off-road tires, LED headlights and brake lights, heated side mirrors, manual convertible roof and black bumpers. Interior amenities include air conditioning with voice control, premium fabric heated seats, a nine-speaker audio system, and voice navigation. Also included are an external temperature sensor, rear parking sensors, blind spot warning and forward collision mitigation, keyless entry, remote engine start.
The top trim also has access to optional accessories and packages totaling $14,215. Add these additional costs to the $1,795 destination fee and a fully loaded 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X 4xe will cost you about $85,095.
