It's time for the 702hp Ram TRX, the king of power, to start worrying. A recent photo revealed the arrival of the supercharged 5.2-liter Predator V8 engine for the Ford F-150 Raptor R. This engine can boost the F-150 Raptor's power output to around 760 horsepower, just like the S550 Mustang Shelby GT500.
A photo posted by theraptorconnection shows a rotation sheet for a 2023 Raptor with a 5.2L V8 engine. It was already known that the upcoming F-150 Raptor R would be powered by a V8, but prior to the leak, it was unclear which one exactly. Current F-150 Raptor is equipped with a powerful 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine with a unique exhaust system, but more power is needed to fight for the title of king of the dinosaurs.
There are sketches of a possible design for the future Ford Raptor R. Vents above the grille would help with the necessary airflow that comes with the 5.2L V8 engine under the hood. Looking forward to more details on the upcoming Raptor R, which should be officially unnounced later this year.
