Ford is celebrating the start of production of the F-150 Lightning, but competitors aren't going unnoticed. General Motors has confirmed that an all-electric Corvette is coming, while Stellantis has revealed more clarity on the Ram Revolution electric pickup.
In the teaser shared by the brand, the thunder and lightning show anticipates the materialization of the Ram badge, while the front of the "Revolution" emerges from the shadows. The teaser for the Ram Revolution electric pickup doesn't show much, but the daytime running lights design is visible with four LED strips framing a large RAM lettering - the so-called X-Grille.
Ram has yet to reveal details about the electric pickup truck, but it is expected to run on the STLA Frame platform that Stellantis is developing for their trucks. The platform is designed to support 159-200+ kWh battery packs that can provide up to 500 miles (804 km) of range. Estimated start of production of Ram Revolution is in 2024.
