Shelby unveils 2024 Ford Mustang Super Snake: the most powerful yet

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, Shelby American has unveiled a new version of the iconic muscle car: the 2024 Shelby Super Snake. This is the most powerful Super Snake in history.
The muscle car produces more than 830 horsepower with the help of a supercharger, up from the base 480 hp. 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine. The suspension has also been tuned for sharper cornering, and the exhaust system has been modified to increase airflow. Last but not least, the brakes and cooling have been improved to maximize the potential.
The Ford Mustang Shelby Super Snake was inspired by the Ford GT Mark IV racing car that won Le Mans in 1966. This car's legendary engine inspired the first Shelby Super Snake for track speed testing.
The new Shelby will be available with both manual and automatic transmissions, and in fastback or convertible configurations. Only 250 of the 2024 model year will be produced in the US, with production starting in mid-summer. Every Shelby American vehicle will be listed on the official Shelby registry. Prices are unknown yet.
